Hi everyone, it's me again! Today is day two of blogathon and I want to talk to you about books, what I read and what I would recommend you should read as well.
Jack Reacher
I am a massive fan of the "Jack Reacher" series of books by Lee Child, they are thrilling, exciting and really fun to read. The series is 17 books strong and still going and they definitely set the standard for all crime thriller books.
Nikki Heat
Another series which I have enjoyed reading is the "Nikki Heat" series by Richard Castle. I know he's a fictional author but, for someone who doesn't exist, he writes fantastic books. I found these off the back of watching the "Castle" TV series and I'm really glad that I did. They are well worth a read and, as for the show, well I talk more about that in my last post.
Looking For Alaska
I've recently started reading "Looking For Alaska" by John Green and I think it's great! The narrative is interesting and amusing thanks to the protagonist's self-deprecating humour. There are a few more John Green novels that I'm looking forward to reading and I'm impressed by his relaxed style.
Ten
A couple of weeks ago I read "Ten" by Gretchen McNeil; it's gripping and tense throughout with a couple of shocking plot twists. Although I felt it started off a little slow, it soon picked up pace and by the end I couldn't put it down.
Hunger Games
Then there is, of course, The Hunger Games trilogy. Three incredible books and one brilliant film so far. For anyone who has seen the film but was unaware of the books I would definitely recommend you read them, they are possibly my favourite books of all time.
If there are any books you think I should read or review, let me know in the comments as I would be grateful for any new reading material. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoyed it. Come back tomorrow for day three!
Adam
