Back to School

Hello again everyone,

The summer holidays are now drawing to a close, we've had results day and school is almost back again. The last few weeks of the summer are always the worst; people remember that school is around the corner, the workload is about to increase tenfold and there are fifteen pieces of holiday homework to do.

There is no point, however, in worrying. School will happen whether we panic or not, so save yourself the trouble. Staying calm about school actually makes you more productive because when you are worrying your mind thinks about how worried it is rather than thinking about what you need to do.

So even though school's nearly here again, just enjoy your last few weeks of the summer (but maybe start doing a little bit of work!).

I'm going into Year 13 when we go back to school, my final year of A-levels before I hopefully go to university. That means that on top of all the school work I've got my applications to sort out as well. It is going to be a tough year and it will definitely be stressful but the outcomes can be fantastic.

See you next week.

Adam
